Note: This family has no MOQ limitation.
Tips.  BG1-xxx has a basic method to calculate the fuel status of a battery pack. This basic method is called "table lookup", measuring the battery terminal voltage and comparing measured value with build-in fixed voltage-capacity table then give a result of relative remain capacity status. This method is used for Li-Ion, Lead-Acid, NIMH and NICD chemical type.  Because even for a same battery pack, this discharging curve will be different at higher or lower discharging current, so it is easy to understand why this method only get a gross or rough result. Generally, BG1 family battery fuel gauge has a 10%~20% relative remain capacity tolerance.
Tips 2: Because LiFePo4 type has a very flat discharge curve, so the basic "table lookup" method will be not suitable for this battery type.
 

BG1F-XX Series LiFePo4 Battery Fuel Gauge indicator

BG1F LiFePo4 battery fuel gauge Feature
Designed for 3.2V~48V LiFePO4 battery packs.
5 segments LED indicator, 10% capacity resolution.
Build-in MCU chip, use "Coulomb Accumulation" method
Very slim size: 42x22x5 mm, Fixed easily: self-sticky bottom sheet.
Reverse polarity protection.
BG1F-xx (x=1~16) for 1~15series, 3.2~ Li-ion/polymer battery-pack
 
This family has no MOQ limitation.
Tips.  BG1F-xx use "Coulomb Accumulation", called "CA",  methods to calculate the fuel status of a battery pack. This method measures the current flow-in or flow-out  from the battery-pack, and then multiplied by timer  measured,  the product of "CA" and "Time" give a accurate energy level of flow-out or flow-in. Use BG1F-xx need a "current resistor"  series between "Battery Cell Negative pole" and battery-pack negative terminal.  Generally this resister could be the existing RS on the PCM or BMS of battery-pack,  or could be an external component of this battery-pack. The recommended value of this RS is 5mΩ~50mΩ, depend on the working current of this battery-pack. , BG1F-xx LiFePo4 battery-pack fuel gauge has a +-10% relative remain capacity tolerance.

Note: This family has no MOQ limitation.
Tips: BG2 family uses "Current-Accumulating” algorithms ( hereby called CA), this method also named “Coulomb Accumulation” or “Current Integration”. Battery monitor with CA function tracks the remaining capacity of a battery using the Current Accumulator. CA method maintains a net accumulated total of current flowing into and out of the battery.
